We understand how overwhelming cancer treatment can be, and we want you to know that you are not alone in navigating your care. Although Memorial Cancer Institute and Broward Health are currently out of network with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), the PET Imaging Institute of South Florida remains an in-network provider for all BCBS plans.
If you are an oncology patient receiving active treatment at either hospital and need a PET scan, you have the right to request that your scan be performed at our facility. To make this happen, please ask your Primary Care Provider’s office to send your referral and/or authorization directly to the PET Imaging Institute of South Florida. You may also call BCBS directly to ensure your authorization is honored. Since we are in-network and fully authorized, your scan can be safely and seamlessly performed with us.
